The article says that (according to me) the many-universes interpretation "solves once and for all the ancient question of whether we have free will". In fact, as I say in The Fabric of Reality, all it does is solve the 'problem of counterfactuals', which is just one of the components of that ancient question. I'm sure we do have free will, and I'm equally sure that it has nothing to do with quantum mechanics. Understanding it will require advances in philosophy.
I am also quoted as saying "There's also the argument that because the child's death will happen in some universes, you ought to take more care when doing even slightly risky things". This is most unfortunate, since I was citing that as an example of a fallacious argument which my work on probability rebuts.
